Influenced by the style and attitude of the late 19th century impressionist painters. This music drifts across everyday moments, aiming to remind one of the momentary, sentimental effects of a place, a time or an occurrence.
Nirvana Haze

Nirvana Haze was the constant that emerged from several months of studio experimentations. A multi layered soundscape where each element was built up and disintegrated again and again to form stratums of drifting, wind like resonances and drones. The effect is meditative, introspective and totally immersive.

The wanderer and stone can be referred to in loose terms as the Ego (wanderer) and the Self (stone), and the relationship between these two elements within an individuals life. The stone, similar to the Jungian concept of the Self, the ‘lapis philosophorum’ of medieval alchemists, or even the Atman of Hinduism is the underlying unity or totality of one's nature that the uncertain ego (as wanderer) is often looking for, but can never fully grasp.

Remote Textures was created while living rough in Sydney's inner west through 2011 to 2013. Armed with an old laptop, a JP8080 synthesizer, a Nord Modular and an ex demo H7600 harmonizer, these tracks were produced while bouncing between jobs, living in shared houses, going to warehouse parties and traveling to festivals up and down the east coast of Australia.

Signpost Horizons is Scott Beardows (Alonefolds) first release on the online label Rural Colours. It is comprised of four tracks totaling 20 minutes in length that were composed over the winter of 2010.
